“Resource Therapy Foundation Training” is a basic level of learning for those who want to learn the concepts, foundations, and implementation process of Resource Therapy as a parts-based intervention. This level is a prerequisite for progressing to the “Resource Therapy Clinical Qualification” level.

“Understanding the basics of Resource Therapy as an effective Parts-based intervention in the world of modern counseling and psychotherapy.”

Foundation Training is an introductory course designed to understand the theoretical foundations and procedures for Resource Therapy in professional counseling and psychotherapy practice.

In this initial level, participants will also begin to practice several basic skills necessary to master Resource Therapy.

This level of training includes:

In Depth Resource Personality Theory: basic concepts of personality, emotion and behavior in a Resource Therapy perspective.
Resource State Formation: the mechanism of forming Resource State as a coping mechanism and as an emotional reaction.
Conscious State, Surface State & Underlying State: the levels of consciousness where the Resource State is located, when the level of consciousness is activated and how to intentionally activate the Resource State level at each level of consciousness.
Resource State & Alters: the fundamental differences between Resource State and alters (multiple personalities), how alters are formed and what the scope of Resource Therapy treatment is for symptoms of multiple personality problems (Dissociative Identity Disorder).
Resource Therapy & Neuroscience: the scientific perspective behind Resource Therapy, the relationship of Resource Personality Theory and Resource Therapy to memory consolidation and reconsolidation.
Resource Therapy vs Ego State Therapy vs Hypnotherapy: the difference in perspective between Resource Therapy and Ego State Therapy and hypnotherapy, understanding the essential intersection between the three and the fundamental differences that distinguish the way Resource Therapy works from other existing approaches.
Goals of Resource Therapy & Resource State Pathology: types of pathological conditions that can be experienced by Resource State (Vaded State, Retro State, Conflicted State and Dissonant State), as well as an affirmation of the goals of the treatment process in Resource Therapy for each Resource State Pathology.
Resource Therapy Process & Resource Therapy Actions: the treatment process in Resource Therapy and the types of specific actions in the Resource Therapy treatment process.
Accessing Resource State: basic practices for accessing and communicating with Resource State, procedures for what to do and what not to do when communicating with Resource State.
Dealing with Resistance: the types of resistance that can hinder the Therapist from actively communicating with the Resource State and various ways of overcoming resistance.
State to State Communication: the basic practice of facilitating communication and negotiation between Resource States.
